Manus Noble

Manus Noble was born in London in 1988. He studied the guitar from the age of seven and at an early age was noticed as an exceptional talent. He studied privately with Craig Ogden for two years before continuing his studies with Gary Ryan at the Royal College of Music in 2006. In 2010 he graduated with first class honours and was awarded a scholarship to do his Masters in Performance at the Royal Academy of Music. Manus Noble gave his debut performance at the Cadogan Hall, London at the age of 19. He was also given a substantial Performance Award by the Musicians Benevolent Fund and was accepted onto the Park Lane Group Young Artist's Concert Series at the Purcell Room, London Southbank Centre. He was awarded first prize in the Ivor Mairants Guitar Competition in 2011



Svanur Vilbergsson

Icelandic classical guitarist Svanur Vilbergsson is rapidly gaining recognition as one of the most promising young performers of his instrument. As a two-time recipient of grants from the Cultural Council of Iceland, he has given concerts at the King's Chapel Concert Series in Boston, the Bonnenfanten Museum (Maastricht, Holland), Encontre internacional de compositors, Illes Balears , and the Great Hall of Devon (England). He is a regular guest artist for the Casa Eulalia Concert Series in Mallorca, Spain, and was selected to take part in The Gulf Stream Project, a series of concerts in Norway as part of the Icelandic-Norwegian cultural exchange program. Recent performances include recitals in Boston, Seattle, and Majorca, where he played the premiere of a commissioned work by Mateu Malondra Flaquer. In addition to his concerts throughout Europe and the USA, Svanur Vilbergsson continues to perform on the most visible stages in his native country, playing at the Reykjavik Culture Night Festival, the Blue Church Concert Series in Seydisfjordur as well as at the Tíbrá Series at Salurinn, Icelands main chamber music hall.
